Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Gorillas - Buhoma and Ruhija Groups

We tracked the Habinyanja mountain gorilla family in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest near the villages of Buhomaand Ruhija. More details can be found in the photo captions.

From the visitor center we drove for a couple of kilometers until the lead guide heard from the advance trackers with the location of our group. This dirt road is carved into the hillside, with steep slopes on either side, and at an altitude of ~7500 ft.
