Kalaw to Inle Lake Trek

From Kalaw, we trekked through farmland and villages (Baw Hnin Kone, Htun Kom and Pack Tu Pouk on Day 1) on the way to Inle Lake. Although sometimes steep, and mostly muddy, it was a treat to experience the unspoiled natural beauty of the area, with frequent views of the Shan Mountains. We overnighted on pads on the floor of the Htee Tein monastery. New the village of Than Daung, we finally caught a glimpse of Inle Lake.
