Fortuna Bay, Stromness Harbour

On 22 Oct 2022 we made two landings. The first, Fortuna Bay played a key role in Shackleton's rescue. It was from here that he climbed up and over the mountains to arrive at the Stromness whaling station. Today, Fortuna Bay is home to a large colony of king penguins, as well as fur and elephant seals.
