Erecting Rob's Yurt on Lopez Island

Over 10 days in August of 2009, Rob, with the help of his friends, erected a Pacific Yurts yurt on Lopez Island.

The ring is readied for hoisting - one of the most challenging, and possibly dangerous steps in the erection since the beams have the potential to fall out of the ring as new beams are added. Happily, we had no mishaps.
