Anza Borrego Desert State Park

While I arrived a few days after the reported wildflower "peak" blooms, as you can see the flowers were still plentiful! Anza Borrego is the largest state park in California, and most of the visitors stay in the northern part of the park. I escaped the crowds on the weekend by heading south, and found different terrain and flora species - and fewer people.
