2009 Harken Optimist Challenge - 2 Galleries

2009 Optimist Harken Challenge Series, Regatta #2, San Francisco : San Francisco Bay, Saturday April 18th - Warm weather and light air greeted the opti fleet in the largest Opti Regatta on the west coast, hosted by San Francisco Yacht Club. However, by the 3rd of four races, the wind had picked up and the young sailors had to contend with more typical San Francisco Bay conditions. I was in photographer heaven -- cute kids in little boats against backdrops of San Francisco, Angel Island, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Mt. Tamalpais.
